Explore, play, and learn about nature at the Waterman Conservation Education Center's main interpretive site in Apalachin, NY! Several miles of well-marked trails lead hikers through forests, along streams, and above gorges for beautiful scenery, lovely views, and chances to spot regional wildlife. Our nature center houses displays, exhibits, a crawl-through beaver lodge, and a charming gift shop. Trails are open from dawn until dusk and general admission to the building and trails is free! Guided experiences and events are presented periodically for an additional fee. Please leave dogs and other pets at home (unless they are service animals).
